The Setup: Pigs Go for Fifth Straight Win against Buffalo

The IronPigs host Game 5 of a seven-game homestand tonight against the Buffalo Bisons. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.

PITCHING MATCHUP

Ben Lively makes his return to the IronPigs making his first start at Triple-A this season. He is opposed by Ryan Borucki for the Bisons. Today's starting pitching matchup is presented by Allentown Family Foot Care, which provides the latest in medical and surgical treatments of the entire foot and ankle. Learn more at affc.com.

Lively, the 2016 Paul Owens Winner is 18-10 in his career with Lehigh Valley and has a 3.10 ERA. He returns to the Lehigh Valley after opening his season in Philadelphia. A former 15th round pick, Borucki is the No. 8 prospect in the Blue Jays system according to MLB Pipeline. The MiLB.com organizational All-Star in 2017 was 8-8 with a 2.93 ERA with one start in the IL.

LAST GAME

The Pigs and Bisons kicked off their four-game series with a back-and-forth affair at Coca-Cola Park. Tied 5-5 in the bottom of the ninth, Dean Anna lifted a sacrifice fly to right field scoring Roman Quinn and giving the Pigs a 6-5 victory.

Seeking their first walk-off win of the season, Logan Moore led off the rally with a walk to put the go-ahead run on first. Roman Quinn would come on to pinch run and put his wheels on display. Quinn stole his IL-leading 12th base to get into scoring positon and moved to third on a fly out by Alexi Amarista. One batter later, Dean Anna hit a sacrifice fly to win the Pigs their fourth straight game. Click here for a full game recap.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

The IronPigs are 80-83 against the Bison all-time dating back to 2008. The Pigs have 46 all-time wins against Buffalo at home.

The Pigs took the 2017 season series from Buffalo 10-6 including a 7-0 record at home.

It's Bruno Mars Fireworks Night at Coca-Cola Park brought to you by The Catholic Diocese of Allentown.

The weekend continues with Star Wars Night on Saturday featuring on-field jedi-training and Saturday night Star Wars themed fireworks presented by Arden Courts of the Lehigh Valley.

Celebrate Mother's Day with the IronPigs on Sunday afternoon with Berks Food Picnic Patio seats. 2,000 women 18 and older will receive a cosmetic bag sponsored by Lehigh Valley Aging in Place. There will also be post game Kids Run the Bases presented by Lehigh Valley Children's Hospital.
