"The Pow Wow" Set To Welcome Penner And Coutu

Johnstown, PA - For the sixth edition of "The Pow-Wow" on Thursday, March 6 host, and voice of the Chiefs, Ray Schmitt will be joined by guests Andrew Penner and Justin Coutu.

Chiefs' fans of all ages can see the show live from the Lower Works of the Johnstown Brewing Company Restaurant and Pub at 7:30 p.m. For those who miss the live show, a recording of "The Pow-Wow" will be available at www.johnstownchiefs.com.

A seventh-year professional, and a first-year Chief, Penner has posted four wins in limited action for Johnstown. Penner has played 16 games so far this season while serving two different stints with the Chiefs' AHL affiliate Lake Erie Monsters. Penner has won 31 games in the ECHL between Dayton, Wheeling, and Johnstown.

After coming over from the Augusta Lynx in a trade in December, Coutu has tallied five assists and 35 penalty minutes for the Chiefs. The rugged defenseman from Maple Ridge, British Columbia is in his third professional season after spending the previous two in the CHL (Fort Worth) and the UHL (Muskegon).

The Chiefs play at home again on Friday, March 7, for the Chiefs' Keychain Giveaway sponsored by Mazzei and Associates to the first 1,000 fans.
