THE FINAL STAND: The final homestand for the 2003 season starts tomorrow night for the Express. San Antonio comes to town for a four-game series, starting with "Thirsty Thursday" and a visit from Skyy Dogs USA.

Friday Night is full of action with the traditional post-game FIREWORKS show preceded by the Rudy's "Spin the Bottle" promotion for free breakfast tacos for one lucky section of fans. Also on Friday is a visit from "Aaron's Dream Team," the all-female NASCAR pit crew. They'll be on hand to giveaway 10,000 free tickets to the Chevy 500 Indy Racing League IndyCar Series event.

Saturday night brings one of the best promotions of the year, the annual "Jersey-Off-The-Back" night. Fans will have a chance to go home with the actual jerseys the Express wear on Saturday.

Sunday, the final game of the year, is "Fan Appreciation Night." The Express will be giving away prizes all night and as a final thank you, a magnificent Fireworks show will follow the game.

THE PORCH: During this final homestand fans will have a chance to spend an inning or two on the Express Clubhouse roof, which will be the site of the new Home Run Porch for the 2004 season. Sign-up at the stage area on the 3rd base concourse and get a sneak preview of the most exciting seats in the house next year.

BASEBALL & BLUES CONCERT: A free blues concert will immediately follow the Jim Rome Tour Stop on Saturday, September 6th. Doyle Bramhall, Tom "Bluesman" Hunter and an acclaimed quintet, led by saxist Mark "Kaz" Kazanoff and guitarist Derek O'Brien, has some of the blues' most extensive recording credits, including work with James Cotton, Taj Mahal, Double Trouble, Marcia Ball, Kim Wilson, Matt "Guitar" Murphy and many, many others. OLDIES CONCERT: Oldies 103.5 and United Heritage Credit Union present the Oldies 103/United Heritage Credit Union Fall Family Fest starring The Grass Roots with original lead singer, Rob Grill. The Turtles featuring Flo & Eddie and Herman's Hermits featuring Peter Noone. Plus special guest The Eggmen- a local favorite Beatle's Tribute Band. This event is great for the entire family!
