San Angelo, Texas---On Tuesday the Colts will begin the final regular season home stand of the season. The eight games will include two four-game series, first against the McAllen Thunder and then finish with a showdown against the second place Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings. The final eight games will finish on a high note and are filled with some of the best promotions, giveaway and special events of the season.

It begins with $2 Tuesday when the McAllen Thunder arrive on August 16, where all general admission tickets, hot dogs, popcorn, peanuts, beer and soda are all just two bucks, sponsored by Budweiser. Wednesday will feature Sherwin Williams "Sure Win" Wednesday, where if the Colts don't win all fans in attendance will receive a free ticket to Monday's game. Thursday is the biggest "Thirsty Thursday" of the season. Not only is it just one dollar for beer sponsored by Miller Lite, but it features a Mardi Gras themed night with Cajun food and a crawfish toss. The Colts players will also stay in the spirit of the event by wearing a special Jersey during the game that will be auctioned off after the final out, sponsored by Concho Valley Partnership. Friday is one of the most anticipated giveaway nights of the year, featuring a special "Casey the Colt" bobblehead sponsored by West Central Wireless.

It ends with a four-game set and a showdown for first with the rival Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings. With game one of the series beginning on a Saturday, August 20, it features a backpack giveaway sponsored by Names and Numbers. The Colts then have their final youth clinic of the season on Sunday, where kids can get free lessons from the Colts players and coaches sponsored by Wal-Mart. Monday is SportClips "Haircut Monday," where haircuts are just $5 with the proceeds going to the American Cancer Society. The regular season home finale will end with a trifecta, with a $2 Tuesday sponsored by Budweiser, "Fan Appreciation Night" and fireworks after the game sponsored by the Bank of America.

So don't miss one of your last chances of the season to see your home town team. If you haven't been to a game yet this season it is time to come out and see your first place Colts drive toward the North American League Championship.
