
Teixeira traded to Gwinnett for future considerations

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Charlotte Checkers head coach and general manager Derek Wilkinson announced today that the team has traded forward Brian Teixeira to the Gwinnett Gladiators for future considerations.
Teixeira, a rookie, skated in 23 games this season scoring four points (1g, 3a) with eight penalty minutes and a -8 plus/minus rating. Teixeira, 25, recorded the first goal of his professional career on February 11th against Wheeling.
