
TD Bank Partners with Local Youth During Road Warriors Hockey Games

Greenville, SC - Today the Road Warriors announced a partnership with TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bankî, to present youth hockey scrimmages, featuring some of the area's youth hockey players in the "mite" age group, during intermission of select Road Warriors hockey games.
The intermission scrimmages, now known as the TD Bank Mites on Ice, will be featured at four games over the remainder of the season. As a part of the program, the youth players and coaches will receive tickets to each of the designated games courtesy of TD Bank. In addition, the participating players will receive special Road Warriors/TD Bank jerseys. Children from Greenville Recreation District Community Centers will also receive game tickets courtesy of TD Bank.

The TD Mites will be taking the ice on the following dates:
Saturday January 12 at 7 p.m. vs. Orlando Saturday, January 19 at 7 p.m. vs. Gwinnett Sunday, March 3 at 4 p.m. vs. Elmira Friday, March 29 at 7 p.m. vs. South Carolina

"The Road Warriors have made it one of our goals to grow the game of hockey in the area. We are excited that TD Bank is now joining that effort and helping children to enjoy hockey in the Upstate."
TD Bank will be inviting 20 children from the Greenville County Recreation District Community Centers to attend each of these home games to sit alongside the TD Mites. The Greenville County Recreation District has eight community centers in the county, offering a variety of activities for all ages.
The Road Warriors are back at the EquilifeMD Rink in the BI-LO Center this weekend as they host the Orlando Solar Bears on Friday and Saturday night at 7 p.m. Hockey Happy begins on Friday at 5 p.m. with free food, discounted drinks and entertainment presented by Bubba Annie's, ROCK 101 and ABC Party Rentals. THE ROAD WARRIORS WILL BE ACCEPTING CLOTHING DONATIONS ON THE ARENA CONCOURSE ENTRANCES TO DONATE TO THE VICTIMS OF HURRICANE SANDY. Fans who donate new clothing will receive a ticket voucher for the game on February 7th. On Saturday, the first 1,000 kids 12 and under receive a white replica jersey presented by Scene on 7, Epic Concrete and WSSL 100.5. Tickets to the games start as low as $9 and are available at the BI-LO Center or online at ticketmaster.com!
