Medicine Hat Tigers News Release

Medicine Hat, AB - The Medicine Hat Tigers will have multiple events happening at the final regular season home game. In addition to the on-ice presentations taking place before puck drop, the Tigers are proud to announce that Davis GMC will be hosting a pre-game tailgate BBQ for fans.

The tailgate BBQ will be held at the front doors of the Canalta Centre with burgers and soft drinks sold for $5. All proceeds from the sales of burgers go towards the Medicine Hat Food Bank who will also be on hand.

Another way to help out heading to the game is by bringing a non-perishable food item to donate to the food bank. Bins will be located by the BBQ and at the CO-OP Community Corner, where the Food Bank will be setup during the game.

A marquee item will be on display as a raffle prize. The Tigers have donated a signed Vancouver Canucks jersey. The jersey features autographs from Derek Dorsett, Linden Vey, Emerson Etem, Willie Desjardins, Perry Pearn, Doug Lidster and Trevor Linden. This one of a kind jersey will be raffled off at no charge for tickets during the game. You can visit the Davis GMC booth on the main concourse to enter!

Also making an appearance will be the Memorial Cup as part of the WHL's 50th Celebration as this year's tournament plays host to Alberta. Fans will be able to take pictures with the cup on the main concourse throughout the game.

Schedule of Events:

6:00pm - BBQ starts and doors open to the Canalta Centre

6:00pm - 7:00pm - Viewing of the Memorial Cup on the main concourse

7:40pm (approx.) - End of second intermission - Viewing of the Memorial Cup on the main concourse
