Fan Appreciation Night Is Friday

March 15, 2016 - Western Hockey League (WHL)
Vancouver Giants News Release

Vancouver, B.C. - The Vancouver Giants will play their final home game of the regular season on Friday night when they host the Kelowna Rockets for Fan Appreciation Night at the Pacific Coliseum. Puck drop is slated for 7:30pm. For tickets, go to TicketLeader.ca or call 604.4.GIANTS (604.444.2687).

This season has seen its fair share of highs and lows. The Giants have felt heartbreak through injuries and as playoff hopes were finally dashed, but there has been plenty to celebrate as well: Ty Ronning scoring over 30 goals this season, Trevor Cox recording over 300 points in his WHL career, Ryan Kubic stepping out as the Giants' starting goaltender, and of course, Ronning representing Team Cherry as the Rink on Renfrew hosted the BMO CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game.

To our devoted fans who have stuck by the Giants all season long, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your continued support, so come out to Fan Appreciation Night! It's an event full of fun and freebies, so you won't want to miss out.

Some of our giveaways will be awarded to randomly selected "Lucky Rows", so make sure to stay in your seats during play! There will also be a variety of food trucks on the plaza at the game including Wings, Mac & Cheese, Indian Pakoras, Disco Cheetah, and more!
