TRENTON, N.J. (November 21, 2008) - Steve Yetman broke a scoreless game with 5:25 left in regulation to give the Elmira Jackals a 1-0 win over the Trenton Devils Friday night. It was the second game in a row in which the Devils were shutout.

The game was fast paced, which each team getting scoring opportunities throughout the contest. The Devils were unable to capitalize on a two-man advantage midway through the first period as Jackals goaltender Mitch O'Keefe made several stops to quiet the Devils attack.

The best opportunity came for Trenton in the third period, when Benoit Mondou raced in for a breakaway, only to be stopped by the right pad of O'Keefe. Not much later, Yetman went coast-to-coast and fired a wrist shot that dribbled past George Effinger and gave the Jackals the deciding goal.

Effinger made 27 saves in a losing cause, as he made key saves throughout the game for the Devils. O'Keefe stopped 38 Trenton shots to earn his first career shutout.
