
Skinner Returns To RoadRunners

PHOENIX, Ariz. - The Phoenix RoadRunners of the ECHL, a proud affiliate of the San Jose Sharks and the Worcester Sharks, announced today that center Peder Skinner was released from his professional try-out offer with the Lake Erie Monsters of the American Hockey League and has returned to the club.
Skinner, 22, tallied his first career AHL goal and collected two penalty minutes in three games with the Monsters. The Isle-aux-Morts, Newfoundland native and second-year professional has one goal and four points through 11 games this year with the RoadRunners after being selected to National Conference roster that participated at the 2008 ECHL All-Star Game in Stockton, Calif. Skinner finished third on the RoadRunners in scoring and tied for 19th overall among ECHL rookies in 2007-08 with 23 goals and 54 points in 72 games.
In a separate transaction, the RoadRunners have placed forward Colin Sinclair on the three-day injured reserve.
The RoadRunners conclude a three-game home-stand at 7:05 p.m. Friday when they welcome the Bakersfield Condors to US Airways Center.
