Salmon Kings Send D-Man to Desert

Victoria Salmon Kings News Release
Victoria, BC - The Victoria Salmon Kings, proud affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks and Manitoba Moose, announced today that Jeremy Swanson has been traded to the Phoenix RoadRunners for future considerations.
The 24-year old Swanson joined Victoria in the summer after spending last year with both Cincinnati and Wheeling. In 13 games with the Salmon Kings this season he contributed two assists and 12 minutes in penalties.
The Red Rock, ON native was a sixth round selection of the Florida Panthers during the 2002 NHL Entry Draft. After playing his junior hockey in the OHL he has played in both the AHL and ECHL during his five-year professional career.
