T-Bones Snap Streak; Win in Sioux City

SIOUX CITY, Iowa. - The Kansas City T-Bones losing streak, snapped Wednesday night, with a 8-1 win over Sioux City, at Lewis and Clark Park.

Kansas City starting pitcher Casey Barnes was given a two-run first inning lead, with a two-out, two-run single by Robby Kuzdale. That's all the offense Barnes (1-1) needed, to cruise to his first victory of the season. Barnes pitched seven innings of one-run baseball on just five hits.

The T-Bones offense erupted for eight runs, for the second consecutive game. Kyle Robinson hit his second home run in as many days, and Vladimir Frias also homered in the 8-2 win.

The offense really came alive against Sioux City reliever Jimmer Kennedy, in the sixth inning, with six runs on five hits. The T-Bones received RBI's in the inning from Robinson (2), Frias (2), Ryan Cavan, and Nate Tenbrink.

Former T-Bone and Sioux City starting pitcher Dustin Loggins (1-2) took the loss. Loggins allowed two runs on five hits through five innings.

T-Bones relievers, Aaron Baker and Kris Regas each pitched a scoreless inning in the win.
