Syracuse Defeats Bulldogs, 3-1

The Hamilton Bulldogs opened the scoring on Friday night, however the Syracuse Crunch scored three unanswered goals to defeat the Bulldogs 3-1 in Syracuse. It was the Bulldogs first loss in regulation time when posting the game's opening goal. Hamilton's record when scoring first now stands at (36-1-5-4).

Hamilton's record through 75 games consists of 48 wins, 16 losses, 7 ties and 4 overtime losses. The Bulldogs continue to be the AHL's top club with 107 points.

Scoring the Bulldogs lone goal on Friday night was Mike Bishai.

The Crunch had three unanswered goals come from Brad Moran, Tim Jackman and Mathieu Darche.

Bulldogs goaltender Eric Fichaud made 33 saves and suffered just his fifth loss of the season. Karl Goehring stopped 27 shots to earn the win for the Crunch.

The Hamilton Bulldogs next action takes place tomorrow night - Saturday, March 29th as they host the Rochester Americans at Copps Coliseum at Copps Coliseum.
