Syracuse Signs Clarkson's Mike Walsh

Syracuse, NY (March 28, 2003) – The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they signed goaltender Mike Walsh to an amateur try-out agreement.

Walsh, 22, appeared in 23 games this season with Clarkson (ECAC) with a 6-14-2 record, 2.42 goals against average and .910 save percentage. A native of Downingtown, Pennsylvania, Walsh is the first Clarkson player to appear in a Crunch uniform.

Syracuse returns home tonight when they host the Hamilton Bulldogs in a 7:30 p.m. match-up. Tonight is Animal Planet Night, courtesy of Time Warner Cable and Rosamond Gifford Zoo.
