
Syracuse Chiefs Homestand Highlights - April 20-24

The Syracuse Chiefs are back home Wednesday after a six-day road trip to begin a six-game, five-day homestand. The Chiefs will face the Lehigh Valley IronPigs and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, the Triple-A affiliates of the Philadelphia Phillies and New York Yankees, respectively.
Wednesday, April 20th (4:35 doubleheader vs. Lehigh Valley): Fans can take home great prizes on Winning Wednesday sponsored by Turning Stone Resort & Casino. Turning Stone Baseball Bingo lets fans follow the action while checking off plays on their bingo cards, with winners taking home special prizes. In addition, fans can exchange their ticket stub for a ticket of equal or lesser value any time the Chiefs win a Wednesday home game.
Thursday, April 21st (1:05 vs. Lehigh Valley): The first official $1 Thursday of the year, presented by 95X, lets Chiefs fans experience the joy of great concession deals. $1 Hofmann hot dogs, $1 Coca-Cola products and $2 Saranac, Labatt, Coors and 1911 Hard Cider products are all available. In addition, Thursday is College Day, sponsored by the Daily Orange. Wear your college T-shirt and show your school spirit as local colleges spend a day at the park before finals begin.
Friday, April 22nd (6:35 vs. Scranton/Wilkes-Barre): On our Fireworks Friday of the season, sponsored by Coca-Cola, fans can enjoy the first of many postgame pyrotechnic shows this year. The Chiefs will also celebrate Don Waful's 100th Birthday, presented by Liberty Mutual Insurance, honoring the former team president and oldest living Syracuse University alumnus with festivities throughout the night. Miss Syracuse, Meghan Sinisi, will offer a show-stopping Fire Baton Twirling Performance before the fireworks show. The first 1,000 fans will also receive a Coca-Cola fleece hat, as rescheduled from the opening homestand.
Saturday, April 23rd (1:05 vs. Scranton/Wilkes-Barre): Collect part two of our three-part Coca-Cola fleece giveaways with a Coca-Cola fleece glove set. This giveaway marks the first Super Saturday of the year, with special giveaways or guest appearances for every home Saturday game this season.
Sunday, April 24th (1:05 vs. Scranton/Wilkes-Barre): The first NBT Bank Family Sunday of the year closes out the homestand. Children 12 and under can purchase $2 tickets and run the bases after the game. In addition, Game Truck of Central New York will be on hand in the Driver's Village Family Fun Park. Kids of all ages can enjoy video gaming in their mobile theater.
