
Suns can't hold off Captains

Eastlake, OH: The Hagerstown Suns had three different two-run leads on Thursday afternoon but couldn't hold any of them and lost 9-8 to the Lake County Captains.
The Suns first lead came in the second inning when Leivi Ventura led off with a solo homer, and Joe Holden followed with a three run blast, his first homer, to make it 4-2 Suns. The Suns got the lead back again on a two run homer by Ventura in the fifth. It was the first multi-homer game by a Suns player this year.
The Suns travel to Lakewood, NJ, to face the Blueclaws in a four game series next. Game one of the series is Friday at 7:05pm with LHP Jon Niese (5-1) going up against LHP Josh Outman (1-3) for the Blueclaws (19-19).
