Suns, Biscuits Suspended on Tuesday

Montgomery, Ala. - With the Jacksonville Suns (24-28) leading the Montgomery Biscuits (25-27) by the score of 5-1 through three and a half innings, a heavy rain shower suspended play Tuesday night at Riverwalk Stadium.

The teams will pick up the game going into the bottom of the fourth inning Wednesday beginning at 7:05 p.m. ET. A seven inning second game will follow the completion of Tuesday's suspended game.

Montgomery opened the scoring in the first inning when a Rhyne Hughes single scored Desmond Jennings for a 1-0 score.

Jacksonville opened the lead in the second inning on RBI singles from Chris de la Cruz and Ryan Klosterman for a 2-1 score. A throwing error allowed the third run to score before Lorenzo Scott belted a two-run homerun to left field for a 5-1 lead.
