Jose Urena (W, 4-2) earned the win for the Suns after throwing six shutout innings in Thursday's series-opener, while finishing with five strikeouts while issuing just one walk. The righty held Pensacola hitless through the first 4.1 innings.

Edgar Olmos (SV, 2) picked up his second save of the year, allowing just one hit while striking out three batters over three scoreless innings of relief to finish off Thursday's contest.

Daniel Corcino (L, 3-4) took the loss for Pensacola after allowing six runs (two earned) on four hits in just 1.2 innings of action. Corcino also walked four batters in what was by far his shortest start of the 2014 season.

The Suns scored 10 runs on 10 hits in the first four innings to hop out to an early insurmountable lead. The Suns scored two runs in the first inning, four in the second, three in the third and one more in the fourth to grab a 10-0 lead after four innings of play. Jacksonville added their 11th run in the top of the ninth inning to cap off their scoring in Thursday's series opener.

Four Suns had multi-hit games on Thursday, with J.T. Realmuto and Alfredo Silverio finishing with two hits and Brent Keys and Austin Nola winding up with three base knocks apiece in a winning effort.

Alfredo Silverio (HR, 2) cranked a solo home run in the top of the third inning, his first homer since April 17th.

J.T. Realmuto and Brady Shoemaker each finished with 3 RBI, while Austin Nola finished with two runs driven in.

The 11-run margin of victory marks a new season-high for the Suns, eclipsing their 10-run margin in a 10-0 shutout of the Montgomery Biscuits at Bragan Field back on April 27th.

The Suns also set new single-game team highs with eight walks and five doubles in Thursday's victory.

The Suns and Blue Wahoos will be back at it on Friday night at 7:30 p.m. ET. The Suns send out the lefty Chipper Smith (0-0, 0.00) to make his Southern League debut, while the BayBears will counter with right-hander Robert Stephenson (2-3, 3.72).

Suns fans can listen to Friday's game on the Suns Baseball Network, 94.1 WSOS-FM or throughwww.jaxsuns.com, MiLB.com or the Suns iPhone or Android app, beginning at 7:15 p.m. ET with the Memorial Hospital Suns Pregame Show.
