The Birmingham Barons and Chicago White Sox have announced that RHP Mike Recchia has been promoted to Birmingham from Class A Winston-Salem. Roster at 25.
Recchia, 25, was signed by the White Sox as a free agent on June 10, 2013. In seven starts with the Dash this season, Recchia has posted a record of 4-3 with a 2.90 ERA (13 ER/40.1 IP) with 47 strikeouts and 10 walks.
