Suns and Barons Suspended Due to Rain

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Jacksonville Suns and Birmingham Barons had game two of a five-game series suspended due to inclement weather in the area and will finish the game as one of two contests played on Thursday.

With the game scoreless in the top half of the third inning, a heavy rain began to fall, sending the game into a delay. The game will pick up in the top of the third inning on Thursday and be completed through all nine regulation innings. The second game of the night will begin shortly after the conclusion of the first and last seven innings.

Starting pitching matchups for both contests have not yet been determined.

Suns fans can listen to Thursday's games on the Suns Baseball Network, 94.1 WSOS-FM or through jaxsuns.com, MiLB.com or the Suns iPhone or Android app, beginning at 5:50 p.m. ET with the UF Health Suns Pre-Game Show.

The Party returns on Thursday at Bragan Field with Thursday Night Throwdown, Military Appreciation Night, Social Media Night & College Night.
