Moran to Mississippi, Bisenius to Gwinnett

PEARL, MS - RHP Gary Moran was reassigned to Double-A Mississippi from Triple-A Gwinnett, and RHP Joe Bisenius was transferred back to Triple-A Gwinnett from Double-A Mississippi.

Moran, 27, is 1-2 with a 4.96 ERA in nine games (five starts) with the M-Braves this season. He started the season with the M-Braves and made two starts before being placed on the DL with right shoulder inflammation. Moran rejoined the M-Braves in early July. He was signed as a free agent by the Atlanta Braves on June 7, 2011.

Bisenius, 30, made a spot-start for the M-Braves Saturday, August 10. He worked six innings but took the loss, giving up four runs (three earned) on seven hits, a walk and four strikeouts as the Generals defeated the M-Braves 7-2 in game two of a doubleheader. He is 3-5 with a 5.63 ERA in nine games (eight starts) at Triple-A Gwinnett this season. Bisenius was signed by the Atlanta Braves out of the American Association Independent League on June 21, 2013.
