JACKSON, Tenn. - The Biscuits (60-62, 23-29) took a 2-1 lead over the Jackson Generals (53-63, 24-25) in the top of the fifth inning but Jackson hit two home runs including a grand slam in the seventh to pull always in a 9-5 loss for the Biscuits Wednesday night at Generals Park.

The Generals trailed the Biscuits 2-1 in the bottom of the fifth inning. Gabriel Noriega tripled-in a run to tie the game. Chris Taylor followed with a groundball to score Noriega and give the Generals the lead.

Jackson pulled away in the sixth. Ji-Man Choi hit a two run home run off of Austin Hubbard in the sixth inning to give the Generals a 5-2 lead. Then Ramon Morla hit a grand slam in the seventh to make it 9-2 Jackson.

The Biscuits took their first lead of the night in the fifth. Ryan Brett hit into a fielder's choice with the bases loaded to make it a 1-1 game. Shawn O'Malley then singled to right to give Montgomery a 2-1 advantage.

The Biscuits scored two runs in the eighth then one in the ninth with a solo home run from Kyeong Kang to make it 9-5.

The loss is the Biscuits fourth-straight.

The middle-game of the series is Thursday night at 7:05. RHP Jake Thompson will look for his twelfth win for the Biscuits while the Generals will send RHP Trevor Miller to the hill.
