
Sundogs Add Labelle, Waive Watson

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - Arizona Sundogs Head Coach and General Manager Marco Pietroniro announced today the team has signed forward Marc-Andre Labelle and has waived forward Chase Watson.
Labelle, 21, split the 2009-10 season with the Sainte-Agathe Montagnards and the Princeville Titans of the QJAAAHL. In 29 games with Sainte-Agathe, the St. Jerome, Quebec, native averaged two points per game tallying 27 goals and 31 assists. In 19 games with Princeville, Labelle added 28 points (9g/19a) and 18 penalty minutes (PIM).
Early in his junior career, the 6-foot, 188-pound Labelle played for three seasons in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL), splitting time between the Moncton Wildcats and Chicoutimi Sagueneens. In 115 career regular season QMJHL contests, Labelle registered 17 goals, 27 assists and 55 PIM.
Watson, 28, appeared in four games with Arizona collecting two points (1g/1a) and two PIM.
