Sugar Land to Host Atlantic League Playoffs in Pursuit of First-Ever Championship

SUGAR LAND, TX - The First Half Freedom Division Champion Sugar Land Skeeters announced today that individual "Operation Blue Swarm" tickets for the historic 2013 Atlantic League playoffs at Constellation Field will go on sale to the public on Monday, July 29, following a special presale for Skeeters season ticket holders.

Sugar Land will host the first two games in a best-of-five Divisional Series at Constellation Field on Tuesday, September 17 and Wednesday, September 18. Should the team win the Division Championship, the Skeeters will then host Games Three, Four and Five in a best-of-five Atlantic League Championship Series on Friday, September 27, Saturday, September 28 and Sunday, September 29 (if necessary).

With this exciting, first-ever playoff run coming to Sugar Land, fans are encouraged to join "Operation Blue Swarm" by wearing Skeeter blue for each playoff game to blue-out Constellation Field. Ticket prices for the 2013 Atlantic League playoffs begin at $10 plus tax for individual lawn seats and $15 plus tax for field box seats. Official "Operation Blue Swarm" t-shirts will also be available in the team store and online for purchase. Fans may continue to check the Skeeters website for more information on "Operation Blue Swarm", the playoff schedule and securing their seats in witnessing Sugar Land baseball history.

"The Sugar Land community has been incredibly supportive from the beginning, so to see everything come full circle with a playoff run here is outstanding," said Skeeters Manager Gary Gaetti. "There's nothing better than to look up from the field and see a complete stadium full of Skeeter blue. We're excited, we're going to play our hearts out and we're going to have a lot of fun doing it."

Atlantic League Championship Series (Best of Five) - Skeeters host Games Three, Four & Five (should they advance)

Home Playoff Game C - Friday, September 27 @ Constellation Field

Home Playoff Game D - Saturday, September 28 @ Constellation Field (if necessary)

Home Playoff Game E - Sunday, September 29 @ Constellation Field (if necessary)
