Subway Restaurants, Windsor Spitfires and AM800 to Host Can Drive

SUBWAY® restaurants Support and Share – once again local SUBWAY® franchisees are giving back to the communities they live and work in. SUBWAY® restaurants have been a proud supporter of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul for many years.

SUBWAY® restaurants is teaming up with the Windsor Spitfires and AM 800 to conduct a Canned Food Drive on Thursday, Dec. 2nd as the Spitfires host the Niagara Ice Dogs at the WFCU Centre. Game time is set for 7:05 p.m. Fans are encouraged to bring canned goods, non- perishable food items and personal hygiene products to the game. There will be collection bins outside of each gate at the WFCU Centre and when fans donate to the Canned Food Drive, they will be given a ballot for a chance to win at the SUBWAY®/AM 800 Kiosk located in the main concourse.

Fans can also sign up to be chosen to participate in the FIRST EVER Build a Sub Event to be hosted by AM 800's own, Arms Bumanlag during the second intermission!! You don't want to miss this special night!

Also, stop by SUBWAY® on Tuesday, Nov. 30th from 530-730pm at the Home Depot Tecumseh Road Location and meet a few of the Windsor Spitfires to receive free autographed game programs. Bring a canned food item and help us kick off the holiday giving season! Let's all work together and help the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul.
