Stripers, Durham Postponed Tuesday

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Tuesday's game between the Gwinnett Stripers and the Durham Bulls has been postponed by rain. The game is scheduled to be made up as part of a doubleheader on Wednesday, August 1 at Coolray Field.

Both games will be seven-inning contests separated by an approximately half-hour break, with the first game set to begin at 5:05 p.m.

Thursday will mark the second time in 2018 that the Stripers and Bulls play a doubleheader at Coolray Field. Both sides played a twinbill on May 23 after a May 22 rainout.

Right-hander and Atlanta Braves No. 2 prospect Kyle Wright is scheduled to start game one for Gwinnett, followed by righty Wes Parsons (6-2, 2.89) to start game two.

Tony Schiavone will have the play-by-play call of both games on 97.7 FM and 93.5 FM The Other Side of the River beginning at 4:35 p.m.
