Strasburg to Pitch in Hagerstown Sunday

HAGERSTOWN, Md. - The Washington Nationals have confirmed that right-handed pitcher Stephen Strasburg will start for the Hagerstown Suns on Sunday, Aug. 7. First pitch is set for 4:05 p.m., and gates will open at 2:05 p.m.
Strasburg was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2009 First-Year Player Draft and is recovering from Tommy John surgery. He was 5-3 with a 2.91 ERA in 12 starts for the Nationals last season, and he struck out 92 batters in 68 innings.
