ALL-STARS IN SEATTLE
The Storm's Sue Bird and Lauren Jackson were both named Western Conference starters for the 2005 WNBA All-Star Game to be held this Saturday, July 9, at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut. The game will be broadcast live on ABC beginning at 1:00 PM PDT.
LJ RECEIVES ESPY NOMINATION
Storm forward Lauren Jackson has been nominated for an ESPY Award in the Best WNBA Player category. Jackson won the award in 2004 after averaging 21.2 ppg and 9.3 rpg and earning MVP honors during the 2003 WNBA season. Last summer, Jackson tallied 20.5 ppg while leading the Storm to the WNBA Championship. Fans can vote for Jackson by logging on to http://espn.go.com/espy2005/s/05nomineesindex.html.

The Storm's next home game at KeyArena is Wednesday, July 13 vs. the Washington Mystics.
