"I am very honored and excited to be selected to the All-Star team," Ferdinand said. "There is no way I would have been selected to this year's team if it was not for the support of my coaches and teammates. It is a privilege to represent the city of San Antonio and the Silver Stars. I'm looking forward to a fun weekend and playing alongside and against the top athletes the WNBA has to offer. "
The Louisiana State graduate has scored in double figures in 13 games this year, including two twenty-plus point games. She has led the team in scoring six times and steals eight times.
