Kearney, Neb. - Dayton Rasmussen pitched his first USHL shutout and the Tri-City Storm scored four goals in the first to white wash the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders, 6-0, Friday on Color Out Cancer Night at the Viaero Center.

The Storm played on ice painted with the names of those affected by cancer. Last night, Storm players and coaches joined hundreds from the community to color the ice.

Wyllum Deveaux and Alex Limoges each scored their first multi-goal games of the season. Limoges led the Storm with three points. He is tied for a club-best four goals and leads Tri-City with eight points.

Rasmussen fought off two shots in the third and made 18 saves. The Storm cruised with 46 shots, the most the club has attempted in regulation this season.

Meanwhile, Tri-City's power play went 2-for-5, giving the Storm seven man-up goals over its last four games.

Tri-City continues Storm Fights Cancer Weekend on Saturday at 7:05 p.m. against Lincoln with Concrete Cares Night, presented by Kearney Concrete. Tri-City will wear one-night-only specialty jerseys available for auction after the game with all funds going to cancer research.

The four-goal first began early and the Storm beat LaRocque on three shots from the left circle. After notching three shots in the first minute, Deveaux gathered the puck on a two-on-one. With his passing option covered, Deveaux wristed the puck from the left dot and in at 1:51 of the first. Carson Vance and Danny DiGrande engineered the two-on-one with a pair of whacks up the boards to the 16-year-old. Deveaux has three goals this season.

Next, the Storm clicked for a pair of goals separated by 25 seconds. At 9:21 of the first, Limoges sniped the puck to the short side from the left circle after getting a feed from Adam Goodsir.

Before the fans could sit down, Washe scored the Storm's third straight at the left circle. Linus Weissbach fed a pass through the circles to Washe. The 17-year-old has four goals, tied with Limoges for the club lead.

To cap off the first frame, Joseph Campolieto earned his first USHL point with 6:29 left in the first by maneuvering the puck to Wyatt Bongiovanni. Inverted to the net, Bongiovanni spun and whirled it in for his second of the season. Limoges took the secondary assist.

Alex Limoges forced Zack LaRocque out of the game early in the second. Philip Alftberg shot the puck wide right of LaRocque, but the puck bounced to Limoges, who cradled and scored at the right post. Just 25 seconds into the second, Drew DeRidder replaced LaRocque. DeRidder made 27 saves and LaRocque finished with 13.

Wyllum Deveaux scored his second of the night with ten seconds left in the second, centering the puck off a RoughRiders' defender's leg and in.

Concrete Cares Night is Saturday, October 15 at 7:05 p.m. Tri-City meets the Lincoln Stars on the painted ice and the Storm will wear new and different specialty jerseys.

After Saturday, the Storm enjoys a 13-day break and travels to play the Fargo Force on Friday, October 28 at 7:05 p.m. The Storm and Force meet on Saturday, October 29 as well.

Tri-City is at home on Friday, November 4 against Omaha at 7:05 p.m. on Social Media night, presented by the Nebraska Lottery. It's a $5 Kids Friday, presented by Kearney Taco Bell. All kids 12 and under get $5 tickets, plus a voucher for a free taco and soft drink at Kearney Taco Bell.
