
Stockton Kings Take Down Warriors in Thrilling Home Win, 105-104

Stockton, Calif. - The Stockton Kings (17-11), the NBA G League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings, beat the Santa Cruz Warriors (22-8), the NBA G League affiliate of the Golden State Warriors, in a thrilling game Friday night at the Stockton Arena, 105-104.
In the first half, both teams battled back and forth, with the biggest lead coming from the Kings while up seven points at the 9:41 mark in the second quarter. Warriors forward Jacob Evans scored 12 of his 24 points. Kings guard Cody Demps scored all of his 13 points in the first half.
The Warriors saw their biggest lead, by ten points, at the six-minute mark in the fourth quarter. Kings guard Reggie Hearn hit a jump shot to give the Kings a 103-101 lead with 53.5 seconds remaining. The Kings held on for the win until the end of regulation.
Warriors guard Jaleel Cousins led both teams in scoring with 30 points, four rebounds and three steals. Evans posted 24 points, six rebounds and two assists.
The Kings saw six players in double figures for tonight's win. Kings center Daniel Ochefu posted a double-double scoring 23 points, 12 rebounds and three assists. Kings forward Cameron Reynolds contributed with 18 points.
The Stockton Kings will head on the road to play the Austin Spurs on Sunday, January 27 at 2 p.m. PT. This game can be viewed via Facebook Live. The team will then head to Prescott Valley to face the Northern Arizona Suns on Tuesday, January 29 at 5:30 p.m. PT. This game can be viewed via ESPN+.
