WHITE PLAINS, NY - The Westchester Knicks, the official NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knicks, have acquired Tyrius Walker.
Walker, 6'1, 185, signed with the New York Knicks after participating in its 2018 Summer League and was waived prior to the start of the NBA G League season.
He spent four years at Morehouse College, a Division II program. He was a four-year starter and in 2018, earned SIAC Player of the Year and All-America honors while leading the Maroon Tigers to a 25-3 record while earning the No. 1 spot in regional rankings and top ten national rankings for consecutive weeks.
Tyrius Walker will wear number 9.
The Knicks close out a back-to-back tonight against the Sioux Falls SkyForce at 7 PM inside the Westchester County Center.
