
Stock, Huml assigned to Providence

Providence Bruins News Release
The Providence Bruins announced today that the center P.J. Stock and left wing Ivan Huml have been assigned to the team by the Boston Bruins. Both players are expected to be in the P-Bruins' lineup on Friday, October 17 at 7:05 p.m. when they host the Worcester IceCats.
Stock, 28, is in his seventh professional season. He was acquired by Boston in the NHL Waiver Draft on September 28, 2001, and went on to post three assists and 122 PIM in 58 games. He notched 1-9-10 totals and a team-leading 160 PIM in 71 games with Boston last season. Stock has 5-21-26 totals and 523 PIM in 234 career NHL games with Boston, the New York Rangers, the Montreal Canadiens and the Philadelphia Flyers. In 169 career AHL games with the Hartford Wolf Pack and Philadelphia Phantoms, he has 26-47-73 totals and 779 PIM.
Huml, a 22-year-old native of Kladno, Czech Republic, was Boston's fourth pick (second round), 59th overall, in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft. He notched 6-11-17 totals and 30 PIM in 41 games with Boston last season, and 10-16-26 totals and 42 PIM in 30 games with Providence. Huml led the P-Bruins with 28 goals in 2001-02 and has 51-41-92 totals and 145 PIM in 185 career AHL games, all with Providence.
