
Monarchs Announce 2003-04 TV Schedule

MANCHESTER, NH - The Manchester Monarchs, the AHL affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings (NHL), will be featured on five CN8 Hockey Night in New England telecasts during the 2003-2004 season. CN8, the Comcast Network, is a regional news, sports and entertainment network that reaches 6.2 million homes spanning from Maine to Maryland.
The CN8 broadcast team will include play-by-play announcer Mick Moninghoff and Brad Park, a 1988 Hockey Hall of Fame inductee. Park most recently teamed with WMUR Sports Director Charlie Sherman and served as the color analyst during WMUR-TV's broadcast of the Monarchs 2003-04 Home Opener against the Worcester IceCats on Friday, October 10. Moninghoff has been with CN8 since 1996, doing play-by-play coverage of college football, basketball, baseball, lacrosse, wrestling and the Trenton Titans (ECHL).
The Monarchs will first appear on CN8 when they host the Lowell Lock Monsters at the Verizon Wireless Arena on Friday, December 5 at 7:35 p.m. Remaining Monarchs games on the CN8 schedule include their game against the Worcester IceCats on Saturday, December 27 (7:35 p.m.), their game against the Philadelphia Phantoms on March 13 (7:35 p.m.) and their game against the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on Friday, April 2 (7:35 p.m.). The Monarchs road game at the Hartford Wolf Pack on Saturday, January 24 (7:05 p.m.) will also be televised by CN8.
