The Week That Was...
The South Carolina Stingrays hosted the Gwinnett Gladiators and Greenville Road Warriors in a three-game in three-night weekend at the North Charleston Coliseum this week for a record of 0-2-1-0. The Stingrays battled the Gladiators Friday, falling 2-1. Stingrays defenseman Zach Tarkir scored a power-play goal in the third period to cut the lead in half. On Saturday, Gladiators netminder Jeff Jakaitis stopped all 23 Stingrays shots in a 1-0 victory. The Stingrays erased two two-goal deficits on Sunday afternoon against the Road Warriors, but fell 4-3 in overtime. Stingrays forward Joe Pereira registered his first professional goal and defenseman Paul Baier grabbed two assists.

Rookie Sean Dolan stands seventh among first-year players with 19 points (7g, 12a), tied for third with 10 power-play points (5g, 5a) and tied for first with five power-play goals.
Defenseman Johann Kroll is tied for second among league bluliners with two shorthanded points (1g, 1a).
