Walleye Notes

- Past Week Performance: Toledo finished this past week with a 1-1-0-0 record in the three games played. The week started with a Walleye win in Chicago 4-3. Chris DiDomenico led the way for the Walleye with two goals. Saturday night, the Titans scored twice in the third period to down Toledo 5-3. Sunday afternoon, the Walleye finished the week with a dominating 5-1 win at Trenton. Goaltender Thomas McCollum turned aside 33 of the 34 shots he faced for the win.

- Finding the Road Stride! With its win on Sunday, Toledo has won four of its last seven road games. Toledo is 4-7-0-0 away from home this season.

- Rolling Along! Forward Chris DiDomenico has two goals and four assists in his last three games. Andrej Nestrasil has one goal and four assists in his last four games. Joey Martin has five goals and six assists in his last 10 games.

- Penalty Killing! Toledo's penalty kill unit shut down all five power play chances from Trenton on Sunday. For the season, Toledo has stopped 94 of 113 chances shorthanded this season (83.2%). Toledo is tied with Utah for sixth among all ECHL teams in penalty kill.

- Gametime! Light week for the Walleye this week as Toledo will play just one game Friday night in Kalamazoo. It is the third meeting of the season for Toledo and their rivals from the north. Kalamazoo has won the first two meetings this season. Kalamazoo won the first meeting in the Zoo by a score of 6-3 on October 21. Toledo is 6-7-0-1 against teams from the North Division this season.
