Reign Welcomes Back Checking Forwards

ONTARIO, Calif.- The Ontario Reign, proud affiliate of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings announce the return of forwards Chris Cloud and J.D. Watt from the AHL's Manchester Monarchs.

Cloud, 23, made his AHL debut on Dec. 14 against the Portland Pirates. He skated with the Monarchs for a total of three games and recorded seven penalty minutes.

The left-winger played 22 games with the Reign until his call-up, tallying ten points (5g, 5a) and 84 penalty minutes. Watt, 24, was recalled by the Monarchs Dec. 13, and played in his 150th AHL game on Dec. 14. In the two games he played in a Monarchs uniform, Watt posted four penalty minutes.

The Monarchs re-assigned the right-winger back to the Reign where, in 22 games, he posted seven points (1g, 6a) and 66 penalty minutes. Both players are expected to play in Las Vegas against the Wranglers on Dec. 26.
