North Charleston, SC - The Kelly Cup Champion South Carolina Stingrays and Head Coach/Director of Hockey Operations Cail MacLean announced today that forward Spencer Carbery has signed with the team. In keeping with club policy, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Carbery, 27, returns to the Stingrays after earning 12 goals and seven assists for 19 points in 39 regular season games last season. The Victoria, BC native played in all 23 playoff games totaling five goals and eight assists for 13 points as South Carolina claimed their ECHL-record third Kelly Cup title.

"Spencer was a great addition to our team last year," MacLean said. "He has a well-rounded style of play and is an excellent example for our younger players to look up to on and off the ice."

The 6-foot-2, 109-pound left-winger also appeared in 29 contests last season with the Fresno Falcons acquiring five goals and eight assists for 13 points.
