Stingrays Send Baker to Florida

North Charleston, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays, celebrating 20 seasons of hockey in the Lowcountry and proud ECHL affiliate of the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League (NHL), announced today that the team has traded forward Kevin Baker to the Florida Everblades in exchange for future considerations.

Baker, 25, skated in eight games with the Stingrays this season scoring one goal and one assist for two points. The Brampton, Ontario, native was acquired by the Stingrays in a trade with the San Francisco Bulls on November 23.

The Stingrays return to the North Charleston Coliseum tonight, Saturday, December 29 at 7:05 p.m. to host the Wheeling Nailers. Celebrate the holidays with over 200 men and women of our armed forces on Ft. Jackson Holdover Troops Night presented by the USO and Verizon.
