South Carolina Stingrays News Release
NORTH CHARLESTON, SC Head Coach Jason Fitzsimmons announced today that the South Carolina Stingrays will play the Pee Dee Pride in a home preseason game on Saturday, October 5th. Fitzsimmons has not scheduled the remainder of the team's exhibition season. The Rays intend play three games.
"Three games is a good number to both pick your final roster and to get your players in game shape," said Fitzsimmons.
The game on October 5th will be the only home game of the exhibition season for the Stingrays. The Stingrays official schedule for the team's tenth anniversary season will be released in June.
"We are still negotiating with Pee Dee and some other teams to complete our preseason schedule," added Fitzsimmons.
Brett Marietti is the only player signed for the upcoming season at this time.
Season ticket packages are currently selling at the Stingrays office for the team's 10th anniversary season. For information, call 744-2248.
