Stingrays Defenseman Tarkir Recalled to Lake Erie

North Charleston, SC - The Kelly Cup Champion South Carolina Stingrays announced today that Zach Tarkir has been recalled to the Lake Erie Monsters of the American Hockey League.

Tarkir, 25, currently has four goals and 12 assists in 26 games played with the Stingrays this season. The Fresno, CA native is ranked 8th among ECHL defenseman in points with 16.

The Stingrays continue their three-in-three home weekend Sunday, December 13, against the Charlotte Checkers at 4:00 p.m. at North Charleston Coliseum. Sunday is Kid's Day featuring $5 kid's tickets and a pregame kid's carnival. It is also Adopt-a-Dog Sunday with Camp Bow Wow.
