K-Wings Countdown To Face-Off

It will be a divisional battle as the Kalamazoo Wings host the Wheeling Nailers during the 10th Annual Teddy Bear Toss Night presented by WKFR. Tonight is just the second encounter of the season between the K-Wings and Nailers. Kalamazoo defeated Wheeling 6-5 on October 30th at the WesBano Arena.

Coming off their worse defeat of the season, a four-goal loss to the Toledo Walleye, Kalamazoo continues the home stand looking to extend their lead in the North Division. The K-Wings lead the division by three points over the Cincinnati Cyclones.

Witnessing their three-game win streak to come to halt last night with 3-0 loss to Gwinnett; Wheeling enters Wings Stadium for a one game road swing. The Nailers start the day tied with the Walleye for third place in the North. Tonight is also a homecoming for Kyle Bushee, who was born in Otsego, Michigan

This evening, Kalamazoo will face-off against the Wheeling Nailers during the 10th Annual Teddy Bear Toss game, presented WKFR. The K-Wings are 8-1-0-0 at home during the stuffed animal classic and 12-3-0-0 all-time in Teddy Bear Toss contests.

Coaching Milestone Tonight is the 100th career game behind the bench for Kalamazoo's Nick Bootland. Bootland is 59-35-4-1 in his coaching career, with all of his games occurring for the K-Wings.

Kalamazoo has been stellar when leading after 40 minutes of play. On the season, the K-Wings are a perfect 9-0-0-0 when holding a lead entering the third period.

Following a Loss
