Augusta, GA - The South Carolina Stingrays erased a 1-0 lead with four unanswered markers in a 4-1 victory over the Augusta Lynx Friday night at the James Brown Arena.

Garett Bembridge staked the Lynx to a 1-0 lead with a power play goal at 8:48 of the opening period, pouncing on a rebound off the stick of J.B. Bittner for his 18th goal of the year.

From there it was all Stingrays, starting with Cail MacLean's five-on-three power play marker just 52 seconds into the middle frame. Micheal Haley, Peter Szabo, and Nate Kiser also tallied for the Stingrays, with Kiser's insurance marker heading into an empty net at 19:11 as the Lynx tried to rally down 3-1.

Davis Parley played well in net for the Stingrays, stopping 35 of 36 shots to earn the victory. Nathan Marsters stopped 31 shots in the loss for Augusta.

With the win, Augusta, South Carolina, and the Charlotte Checkers all have 79 points on the season and sit tied for the final two remaining playoff spots in the ECHL's South Division.
