Fresno, Calif. - The Fresno Falcons dropped a 3-2 decision to the Bakersfield Condors on Friday in front of 5,060 fans at Save Mart Center.

Following a scoreless first period, the Falcons got on the board first at the 5:55 mark of the second period. Rob McFeeters fed a perfect cross-ice pass to Jason Tejchma in the right-wing circle. Tejchma had his initial shot stopped by Jamie Hodson, but he was able to bat the rebound out of mid-air past the Condors' goaltender for his sixth goal of the season.

Bakersfield tied the score in the final minute of the period. Alex Kim led a 2-on-1 rush across the Fresno blue line, and hit Brett Lutes in the left-wing circle, whose shot eluded the reach of Ryan MacDonald at 19:04.

The Condors took the lead with a power-play goal 2:06 into the third period. Kevin Truelson gathered in a pass at the top of the right-wing circle and blasted a shot past MacDonald for his 16th goal of the year.

But, the Falcons answered quickly, scoring the tying goal 1:31 later. John Morlang rushed into the Condors' zone and had his first short turned aside by Hodson, but Morlang was able to push the rebound across the line for his team-leading 28th goal of the season.

Truelson scored his second of the night, a shorthanded goal at 14:12 to give the Condors a 3-2 lead. Truelson gathered in a loose puck at the top of the right-wing circle, and beat MacDonald with a long slap shot.

Fresno pulled MacDonald for an extra attacker in the final minute, but was unable to get the equalizer past Hodson.
