Stingers Show Heart But Fall to Honkers

Rochester, Minn.- The Willmar Stingers lost a close affair against the Rochester Honkers on Monday night, the final was 6-5.
Willmar after jumping out to a 2-0 lead surrendered there lead when the Honkers scored six in the bottom half of the fifth inning.
Down by four, Willmar showed heart scoring a run in the sixth and two in the seventh thanks to a two run double from Eric Yang (UC Santa Barbara). Yang was the CDI player of the night going 3-4.
The Stingers did not make anymore noise after that, going down quietly in the ninth 123.
