Rivets and Chinooks Rained Out and Rescheduled

Rockford Rivets News Release
Mequon, Wis. - After a delay of over two hours caused by rain and fog at Kapco Park, the Rockford Rivets (15-12) and Lakeshore Chinooks (11-16) made the call to postpone their game to later in the season. The game was never able to get started.
Because the Rivets are not scheduled to appear again at Kapco Park this year, the teams will play a double-header in their next meeting on July 19th at Rivets Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 5:05 PM, with the second game to start immediately after the completion of the first.
The Rivets now focus their attention on a crucial double-header tomorrow with I-39 rival and first place Madison Mallards. The Mallards host the first game tomorrow at 12:05 PM in Warner Park, before the series shifts to Rivets Stadium for first pitch scheduled at 6:35 PM.
