SARNIA, ON - Sarnia Sting General Manager Nick Sinclair announced today that the Hockey Club has traded goaltender Jordan Kooy to the Oshawa Generals for three draft picks.

Kooy, originally selected by the London Knights in the 8th round of the 2016 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection was acquired in a deal with the Knights in October of this year. The Bradford, ON native suited up in 6 games for the Sting posting a 4.53 GAA and a 0.889 save percentage.

In exchange for the 6'03" goaltender, the Sting will receive a 2nd round pick (WSR) in 2020, a 5th round pick (OSH) in 2022 and a conditional 3rd round pick (KIT) in 2024.
