Petes to Honour Legend Colin Campbell Saturday against Leading 67's

(Peterborough, ON) - It's a busy week at the Peterborough Memorial Centre as the Petes host both the Owen Sound Attack and Ottawa 67's.
On Thursday the Petes will throw it back for Y2K Night. Special themed contests and music throughout the game will take fans back in time twenty years.
A pre-game ceremony will recognize the achievement of players in international tournaments. Students of Thomas A. Stewart Secondary School will be prominently featured at the game with Lauren Pineo performing the national anthem while others host a second intermission chuck-a-puck.
Looking ahead to Saturday, the Petes will recognize hockey legend and Petes alumnus Colin Campbell. Campbell played for the Petes from 1970-73 and went on to an illustrious NHL career as a player, coach, and executive. A banner will be raised to the PMC rafters in his honour in a ceremony that will include words from Petes representatives and alumni along with Campbell himself.
Saturday's game, which is sponsored by CARSTAR, will also be the annual Saves 4 CF game night. CF Warrior Ashlynne McGuigan, alongside her mom and Vice President of Cystic Fibrosis Canada (Peterborough Chapter) Candace and representatives from program sponsors John Newman Contracting and GM Financial, will take part in a ceremonial puck drop.
Other activities taking place in support of Saves 4 CF include a silent auction and second intermission chuck-a-puck.
The Petes will wear throwback T.P.T. replica jerseys for the game, which will be available for online auction following the game with proceeds supporting Saves 4 CF. Fans will also be able to purchase limited edition T.P.T. replica jersey t-shirts from the Petes Store and online at store.gopetesgo.com prior to the game.
