Sting Complete Trade with the Barrie Colts

Sarnia Sting General Manager Dylan Seca announced today that the Hockey Club has acquired the rights to Defenceman Ryan Pryce from the Barrie Colts in exchange for a conditional 6th round pick in the 2024 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection.

Pryce, a 6'1", 181-pound 17-year-old was previously selected by the Colts 78th-overall in the 2020 OHL Priority Selection. The Toronto, Ontario native spent the 2019-20 season with the Vaughan Kings of the Greater Toronto Hockey League, with whom he recorded a goal and 6 assists through 32 games played.

The Sarnia Sting look forward to hosting training camp next week ahead of the 2021 OHL pre-season, which begins on Friday, September 3rd as the Sting visit the London Knights at Budweiser Gardens.
