
Steve Regier Returns After Successful Stint in St. Louis

St. Louis, Mo. (November 17, 2008) - St. Louis Blues President John Davidson announced today the club has assigned forward Steve Regier to the Blues' American Hockey League affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen.
Regier, 24, made his Blues debut on Nov. 16 vs. Montreal, recording two goals, his first in the National Hockey League. The 6-5, 200-pound forward has skated in 15 games for the Rivermen this season, collecting 17 points (nine goals, eight assists) along with 12 penalty minutes.
The Spruce Grove, Alberta native was originally drafted by the New York Islanders in the fifth round, 148th overall, in the 2004 Entry Draft.
The Rivermen will be back at home on Saturday, Nov. 22 to take on the Hamilton Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are available at the Peoria Civic Center Box Office, by calling (309) 676-1040 or online at www.rivermen.net.
